SPRING MARKET FAIRE OF KITCHENS

The York  Branch conducts its Spring Market Faire Tour of Kitchens scholarship fundraiser every 2 years, usually the fourth Monday in April, during the day. In each of 5 houses on the tour, a local chef demonstrates a recipe or technique to guests who have purchased tickets in advance. Guests are offered a small taste of the dish prepared. Also in each house, a female-owned or -managed business displays items for browsing.

The 2017 event saw a profit of over $14,900, all of which goes to local scholarships and AAUW Funds.
